Our Flower

October 29, 2011

I hadn't realized
At first
When you turned and started
Walking away from me
I turned away as well
Before you could see my tears

A flower
Just like the bond we share
Very delicate and precious
I wish we could revive it
Back to the lively state
Before it had wilted

My voice would crack
Even stutter
Not wanting to step over the line
Behind those insulting smiles
I wish you would tell me
What was really on your mind
Is our flower...
Forever dead?

I made this through my experience with one my friends. I'm sure most people would mistake this for a broken relationship, though.

Wow! This is super good! Keep 'em coming!
