The Sickness

When you watch the sickness
slowly take it's victim,
but they still manage a smile
that's strength.
When the sickness is so bad
that it hurts to walk,
but they still hold their child
that's love.
When the sickness
takes everything from them,
but they still push through
that's hope.
When you watch the sickness
take it's toll on a loved one,
and they still have a positive attitude
that's life changing.
