Echoes
Echo
echo
echo
The sound your voice makes—
it echoes, reminding you of what you just said.
Is guilt the same way?
Does your heart constantly remind you of what you did—
like an echo?
A weight on your shoulders?
A sinking feeling in your stomach?
Does that echo eventually overtake you?
Causing you to crumble to the ground?
And beg for forgiveness?
Is the echo a raincloud over your head?
Is the echo what causes the tears in your eyes?
Stopping it.
Is it possible?
Can we calm down our voice?
Quiet it, so we can’t hear our echo?
Be less fierce in our actions, so that we don’t hear any echoes?
Any guilt?
I think it’s possible.
Quiet our selves down.
So there’s no guilt.
No regret.
No issues.
No
