Not A Home
My house is not a home
I hear yelling everywhere
I hear the name calling
All I can do is sit and pray
My life isn’t the way it used to be
My life was filled with happiness
Now it’s filled with darkness
There’s nothing I could do
How long must I wait?
How long until my life is back to normal?
When will my family be as one?
But that’s just how life is I guess
My life should be filled with happiness
All I hear is screaming
The cries of my mother
The cries of my sister
The cries of myself
My life is never going to be the same
My life is now a black hole
That can’t be filled with color
My life will never be the same
