I walk down a street
I see pain, hurt, regret
I see broken dreams
I see sleepless nights
I see worry
I see lost love and depression
I see hustling, debt, doubt
I see cheaters, liars, crooks, and drugs
I see gloom.
Then, I see a child.
I see hope
I see dreams
I see innocence
I see laughs, giggles, smiles and hugs
I see passion
I see growth
I see visions, promise, power
But most importantly, I see a second chance.
Nothing but a walk down a street.

This was inspirired by a somber depressing day and watching a kid be excited by an ice cream truck.
