Fragments of a Mirror

Listen close dear, the time is near,
When dreams will become reality,
And you live life in a mirror,
But that’s the least of your fears,
For as the hour closes in,
There will be no tears,
Nothing is as it appears,
Leers and jeers hide around every corner,
Reminding you this is never over,
Don’t you ever wonder,
Why you live in misery,
You’ll never be free,
Unless you break out of this scene.
