Crawling and creeping the spider spins its web
A thousand times again and again,
As you scream and run calling for mom,
Watching and waiting as it crawls closer
You wait to crush it and be the disposer
Moving with speed like a cheetah attacking its pray
This enormous spider can ruin your day
Watching it fall but hang by a thread
Grasping and clutching and watching its dread
Life and death in the palm of your hand
As you throw it outside and watch it land
Heart pounding, mind racing,
Stress has been lifted,
You watch the spider on the ground
Inch its way on the lawn
Standing up looking down
You stomp on it with a frown.

The author's comments:
I dislike spiders with a passion so I wanted to write about how most of society hates them as well.
