\\\"Cinderella walked on broken glass, Beauty let a lifetime pass, Jasmine chose a poor man, Ariel spent her life on land. Its all about the smiles and tears, love is about facing your biggest fears\\\" -annonymous

I fall down, I’m hurt
I run to her
“Mommy, make it better.”

There’s gum in my hair, I’m crying
I run to her
“Mommy, make it better.”

I have a nightmare, I’m scared
I run to her
“Mommy, make it better.”

Brother stole my toy, I’m made
I run to her
“Mommy, make it better.”

Mommy wont move, I scream
Daddy runs, Daddy crys
“Make it better”

Mommy is gone, I’m in shock
No one to run to
“Mommy can’t make this better”

I lost my mom when I was ten. My mom was my best friend and losing her was devastating. This poem is reflecting on how i felt at that time.
