I wish the tears that fell from my eyes were caused from physical pain
Something I could fix with a bandage, or fix with the heat of the sun
I wish the pain I feel in my heart was because someone punched me there, leaving a bruise that would fade away.
I hug my knees, trying to bring every part of my body close, where I can see it
Although the sun shines in the summer, illuminates the field of meadows—
All I see is the pouring rain, the sun being covered by the smoke blushed clouds
You may have amazing sight, seeing clearly across the horizons
But you are surely blind to noticing me, to seeing the roots of my frowns, the cause of the collapsing building
And your devious ways of hugging me and laughing, the sound of a symphony
Now a haunting memory, now withdraws, just misery

Your voice was a fabrication of the finest
People fell for it left and right
didn't though.
I just didn’t accept that you’d leave, that you’d escape from my weak, but fulfilling hands
Just like sand you seeped through my hands and left with the wind
And now just like a drought, I’m left bare to take the heat
For the plants to die
For my ground to burn
And for hope of revival.
