she is lost
A tear streaked face
Smearing the makeup concealing what she wants no one to know
She’s lost
She doesn’t know who she is anymore
As she sobs into the pillow in what used to be her room
It now seemed to be a stranger to her
She didn’t recognize the girl in the mirror
The one with too much makeup and reveling cloths
She didn’t recognize the drugs she took down on a regular basis
She just wants to forget
Forget she’s lost
She didn’t know were the cuts on her legs and arms came from
She didn’t recognize the girl with the razor
The one hiding her pain
The one lost
Her
She looks in the mirror
There she sees the image of desperation
A drug addict girl hiding her pain in deep blue eyes
Concealing a secret better left dead
The secret that in the end
She was nothing but that picture in that mirror
And she was alone
lost
