Even Skeletons Have A Voice
PThough the voices call,
the sound ceases to be.
It’s the inside voices that truly count,
at least to me.
I give them my attention.
My world.
My voice.
They don’t give back.
Nothing more than plans, thoughts and ideas.
They make me feel sick,
array with distaste.
Don’t tell me these things,
I want the other voices.
The ones that help,
the ones that never shame.
The outsides voices,
must they cease to be?
Can’t they be louder?
Can’t they see?
