Rylee
It’s not your fault baby girl.
Mommy was hiding a secret
All the while your daddy was also keeping it
80 mg of methadone a day
Till six weeks early you came
Addicted to the drugs
We all continued to pray that our sweet Rylee would be okay
God looked down, shaking his head
He whispered in mommy’s ear faintly,
“Jenna and Travis, change your ways, or soon ill take her away”
Mommy and daddy didn’t listen till it was too late
Three o'clock in the morning
They made you a bottle in the kitchen
And lay you back down in the wrong sleeping position
Your little heart stopped beating
And daddy woke up screaming,
Doing CPR, but your soul they couldn’t revive
Aunt Tinie wishes she could have kissed you one more time
Sorry I didn’t get the chance,
To hear your laugh;
Or see your beautiful baby smile
Or what color ur eyes should have been
Like nana said, when we all get to heaven we will see them then.
