What Do You See?

What do you see?,
That makes you turn your head?,
What makes you judge me?,
And say I act dead?,
Is it my black hair?,
Is it my two lip rings?,
Or is it my tight shirts,
And my skin tight jeans?,
Do I drive you wild?,
With distaste,
Just because I'm not like you,
Doesn't mean I'm a waste,
But there’s more than what you see,
Take a look inside,
Get to know me,
I am not a criminal,
I am not a dropout,
You don't know me,
Or what I'm about,
Look harder,
I'm more than you see,
Go beyond the surface,
See me as me.
