Puppy Love Poem
Mika

You’re so small you get lost in my arms,

But I know you’re still there,

Your sweet scent like the breeze of the farms,

 With your soft puppy hair.

You greet me outside before I walk through the door,

After a long day at school,

 I know what’s in store.

Sometimes I get mad at you,

For you chew up my stuff,

 But you always love me,

 And I love your ruff!

You’re willing to listen to me,

 When no one else will,

Even if I go on endlessly,

 You’ll just be still.

When I’m acting weird you tolerate,

And you c*** your head to the side,

Like you’re wondering if this is your fate,

 To stay by my side.

 Faithfully.
