Unfortunate Life

Inside a realm,
of destruction and despair,
and finding peace,
is a miracle in its own.
Guaranteeing the disintegration,
of any other child,
who's experienced so much,
is the work of a genius.
From broken bones to bleeding hearts,
from finding consoling pleasure in committing a sin,
to being yanked from a situation,
while every instinct pleads to fight the soul along.
From every profane phrase absorbed,
to merely craving a solid friend.
The life that was granted,
and endured with no complaint,
is a proud, yet devastating piece of art,
that requires more than any sane human could give.
