Ignorance is bliss
A thought that never transpired
Although I surely miss
The adulation of being admired
Every word not said
Gathers into constraint
Each detail left from my head
About what this girl ain’t
Like walking through the darkness
There’s shadows she can’t see
When should I confess?
Tension devours me.
Her jubilant expression
Sunny like the sky
Diverged to depression
Her emotions did sure die
Ignorance is bliss
A thought that never transpired
Although I surely miss
