i told myself that it wouldn't be that bad.
then i tremble my thoughts on a writing pad.
lie to myself to hide my inevitable honesty.
so please get out of my life, god willingly.
i get lost in you, to try to find my own closure.
then i slump my shoulder downs as i lose composure.
curse the dark sky, because it's written in the stars.
you're there...and i'm the alien on mars.
