The City That Fell
Seeping over the land, a fog in the sun.
Hiding all the happiness, replaced by a gun.
Shot at anyone who was ever close to the city.
City stood next to death, then fell, what a pity.
It was foretelling by the way its structures were.
The first years of its happiness were just a lure.
The pipelines, narrow streets, and all the play.
All led up to July's fall, and now she lay.
The buildings crash down but the remnants remain.
Although the city was flawed, I'm still in pain.
