Silent Cry
I slept like I was dead last night.
Small dark room –
Why are my parents crying?
by themselves:
alone.
Music blaring in the background –
Organs.
Someone! Stop
my parents from crying
the noise penetrates
- my soul.
No one hears my cry;
No one to hear my cry.
My parents - they’re still weeping.
I would comfort them myself but my hands are covered in blood.
I slept like I was dead last night.
