I remember my mother’s smell, her lilac perfume and sweat.
I remember my mother’s voice, her sweet song lulling me to sleep.
I remember my mother’s eyes, looking at me with love.

I remember my father’s touch, firm and reassuring.
I remember my father’s smell, his deodorant and aftershave.
I remember my father’s voice, deep and loud.
I remember my father’s eyes, soothing and trustworthy.

I remember my sister’s embrace, warm and safe.
I remember my sister’s smell, lilac perfume like Moms.
I remember my sister’s voice, high pitched and loud.
I remember my sister’s eyes, intelligent and thoughtful.
