New Found Love

Darkness rise,
hopes fall.
Somethings that were meant to be
became nothing but dust.
Dark clouds form,
lighting strikes.
Bright flashes,
blind true colors.
Depressing feelings,
how can this be?
I thought love was real,
but I was fooled.
Then I met you,
and things began to change deeply.
Dark clouds die down.
And bright lights shine
with pride.
You opened my eyes,
to what love really is.
Now I don't feel as alone.
My heart beats once again
to a new found love that I've never had before.
