A Girl I Once Knew
When she lays down to unwrap her thoughts
she feels lied to.
Disgusted.
Lost.
Tired of feeling like she's not wanted
Tired of feeling used and discarded
Broken hearted.
Wondering when the world is finally gonna use her..
Poor little her
The quite girl who hides her pain in shame.
Through every million tears that she cries,
She smiles on the outside but in the inside she dies.
Confused on why when she tries to do right,
it's wrong
She can't figure out how her fear is shown.
She tries her best to dodge their sharp, glassy eyes.
Because they might see right through her disguise.
She's nothing but LIES.
If she could start over she would,
To make everything right, if she could
But she knows in her heart that she cannot...
