The candle light flickers on the walls
The shadows dance as if at a ball
I watch them. . . I see them. . . . I wish I were them
Being able to move about freely
Maybe id rather be a flame of love
The eternal flame that never fades or dies
As for the candles I watch slowly flicker away
Leaving me in the dark once more
Left with only memories that take the breath away
