She gets pushed down,
Laughed at.
She gets talked about,
Even cussed out.
She gets lied on,
Rumors!
But she still walks around
With a smile, and head held high.
A kid like me, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
The life she sees
No one should witness
But the girl within
I wish we all could have been.
