Ever Changing
The blooming of green, pink, and yellow
 Shows the meeting of two
 And the growth
 Of a brand new start.

 The scorching orange and red
Are the climax of our adoration and
 Our deep needing
 That continues to grow.

The cascading dull browns and reds
Brings a chill to our closeness
As the leaves fall farther from each other
And the distance starts to grow.

The freezing cold blue and white
Makes us tread carefully on the ice,
Until it can hold us no longer.
And the distance between us is greater than ever before.

We started as a sprouting flower.
Then we grew into the radiant sun.
We turned into a crumpling leaf
And ended with a melting snowflake.
