Bile at the corners of the mouth
The blood gone from the face
Hands are shaking and clammy
Body is motionless and frail
Eyelids, weigh ten tons each
Breaths, shallow and too few
Throat, raw and constricted
Relentless abdominal cramps
Agonizing chest pain
Leg muscles contracting
Arms wrapped around knees
Hair plastered to neck and forehead
This is what happens to me
