I’m sittin’ here trying to write a song
I’m staring at the blank page
This is taking too long

Then I think about your smile
I haven’t seen it in a while
And I wish I could just one more time

I’m sittin’ here trying to write a song
It’s 2 A.M and everything’s coming out wrong
So I think about you
I let the thoughts flow through

When I think about you, I see
Your blue eyes
I remember seeing them when we
Said goodbye

Oh, but

When we first met
I seen a fire inside you
But I never told you
For fear you didn’t see it too

Oh, oh

But now I’m so confused
I used to love you
And you never had a clue
But you made me hate you
With the things you do

I remember your blue eyes
Your blond hair
I remember thinking that you ever cared

No…

You were crazy, you were fun
But I thought the fun had just begun
And then you were gone
You did things the you I knew
Never would have done

Cuz’ you said goodbye
You made me cry

I know this is a little mixed-up
But it’s how I feel
This is real

I love you
I hate you
And I don’t know what to do

When I think about you, I see
Your blue eyes
I remember seeing them when we
Said goodbye

Oh, but

When we first met
I seen a fire inside you
Glowing as bright as the sun
Yet it grew

We used to talk everyday
But I wouldn’t know what to say
So I guess I’ll say it now
I’ll write it all down

I want you to know that
I never wanted it to end this way
What more can I say?

But… I wish we were together
I wish I had you forever

I guess this is fate
But I wish I could go back in time
Rewind
And tell you how I felt before it was too late

I used to love you
And maybe I still do
But you changed
And it happened so quickly

No no

Oh you…

When I think about you, I see
Your blue eyes
I remember seeing them when we
Said goodbye

Oh, but

When we first met
I seen a fire inside you
But that fire died
When you said goodbye

I miss you
I miss the you I knew

I’m in love with what you used to be
And I hate what you’ve become

I understand now
So, now I’ll take a bow
