"Poetry is the opening and closing of a door, leaving those who look through to guess about what is seen during the moment."

-Carl Sandburg
Poems are photographs
The scene captured in words
Flowing on the parchment
Meant only for the poet

No one knows what is happening
Everyone wondering and pondering
Wishing to see the scene as well
Diversely interpreting the scene

Poet stumbling upon their poems
Remembering the photographs taken
Desiring to go back in time
But knowing the memories will last

I wanted this poem to show how a poem could be forgotten in time, but rediscovering it reopens many doors from the past.
