If she only knew

If she only knew how it all started,
These feelings that rest within me
If she only knew how flawless and beautiful
She looked on that one musical night about a year ago.
Her smile drove me crazy as it does everyday like a child on Christmas.
Her deep ocean blue eyes had certain awe about them,
They kept me swimming, and swimming
Until I thought I might drown
If she only knew why I didn’t jump
At the opportunity to obtain that first, sweet kiss.
If she only knew that every time I kissed her
It felt as if fireworks were shooting off somewhere in the distance.
She was the only girl I’ve ever loved
And if it came down to it, she’s the only girl my mom’s ever loved.
I love her more than she will ever know
Of all of the people in this world
She’s the only one who truly has been able to understand me.
No girl compares to her.
No girl will ever make me feel the way she did.
The days spent with her, and unforgettable
The days spent with her were the best two months of my life
Not a day goes by where I don’t think about her
Smooth, clear skin or her beautiful, long, golden hair…
If she could only understand that I’m lost without her
If she could only understand that we have too much to lose
And the circumstances we are in right now aren’t worth it
If she could only understand how heartbreaking it is,
That out once perfect bond has been left in the dust.
If she only knew how much I missed her.
