I cry
You still don't see
I scream
You still don't hear me
I look at you in the eyes
You look right past me
The absence of you surrounds me
The cold silence that I sit in laughs at me as I sit alone
You drowned me in your neglection
How could someone so close push so far away?
You stumble to your feet as you take another drink
You can't talk but yet your words make me fall from belief in you
I cried
You couldn't see
I screamed
But you still didn't hear me
I looked at you in the eyes and this time you saw me,
But you left me
