How many times must she get hurt,
Before it becomes clear?
How many times must she lose sleep,
How many tears?
How many times must her self worth drop,
Before it reaches its end?
How many times must she force that smile,
Never any time to truly mend.
How many times must she grab that blade,
Just to control her heart?
How many times must she accept,
That she will never be good enough?

The author's comments:
I'm not actually feeling this badly. But, I've gotten so used to the concept of writing about this kind of topic, that it comes almost, too, naturally to me.
