My heart, why must you beat?
The way you sleep, in my sheets.
My heart, why can’t you speak?
Are you crazy, like a freak.
My heart, what goes wrong?
Is it so hard, to sing a song.
My heart, why are you blue?
Must I put you in me, with super glue.
My heart, why are you weak?
Don’t waste your time trying to speak.
My heart, why must you hide?
Are you truly red inside.
My heart, why must you cry?
I swear you will not die.
My heart, why must you tear?
I am not scary like a big brown bear.
My heart, when will you eat?
I can be neat and ever so sweet.
My heart, my heart, where can you be?
I still can’t breathe!
