Away from the too-rough
Fingers of the world,
Is where I keep my most
Cherished dreams.
Where they are
Safe and hidden
From the
Judgment and
Cruelty of others.
My dreams hold
All of my
Hopes and desires.
The hopes that are
Buried deep
In my heart.
Hopes that I see,
Whenever I close my eyes.
Hopes that I pray will eventually
Be achieved.
