In the book of life, the answers aren't in the back. (Charlie Brown)
- Charles Schulz

Sit on my front porch
Look through my windows
And tell me what you see

An overweight girl who never smiles
You'd never know how much she hates herself
Or that she feels she can't find her true place in this world

That she lost the one man every girl needs
Or that her second best friend is lost for good
And that even on her best days she sees herself as a fake

Maybe you see a girl with unfashionable clothes
But then you would not know what sacrifice is
Or she lives her life daily wondering how to keep her family in their home.

You see a girl who never leaves
But you dont know is shes scared that something will happen
And that she will be alone forever

A girl that doesnt smile
Cause she sees herself as a failure
In life, in love, and as a human

The girl that seems like a b****
Cause she holds everyone at arms length
So when they eventually leave her, it dont hurt as much

That girl you see is what the true me is
The girl that dont smile,
The girl that doesnt get close enough
The girl that hates herself
And the girl that feels dead inside

This is just a random thing I wrote to help with my depression.

Ok so the other day I heard a song that used to be my favorite... It was "My Front Porch Looking In" by Lonestar. Well this time I got really depressed and I didnt know why. So I thought about it and when listening to it again I grabed a piece of paper and decided to write.

This is what came out.
