What He Did
Hold your breath,
As he unzips the rest of ,your life;
His thumb and forefinger,
Forcefully taking control of what is rightfully yours.
Hold your breath,
As he throws you to the floor;
His weight so crushing,
That the tears catch in your throat.
Hold your breath,
As he breaks and enters;
His impatience so painfully,
Etched upon his disgustingly eager face.
Hold your breath,
As he pants into your neck;
His whole body rocking,
With moves that were never his to make.
Hold your breath,
As he finishes the deed;
His breath so ragged,
That you wish he'd choke on his own oxygen.
But don't hold your breath too long.
He will never win;
You are always, have always been and will always be
A winner.
He may have won the struggle;
But you can win the fight.
He may have taken what was rightfully yours;
But that does not give him the right to take your entire life.
He may have stolen your strength;
But he will never steal your spirit.
And he may have shattered your heart;
But he will never shatter your soul.
