A trip
A car drive lasting hours, seeming like a lifetime
spending time in a car singing, talking and sleeping,
lookout the windows questioning and capturing...
capturing all the moments mentally and physically.
Approaching a house I've never been in...a house that I've always to be in.
A summer to never forget, a house to always remember, and a turtle to bring home.
A month to embrace the atmosphere of another place.
The walk down the street, to take an adventure with a sister.
The moment to leave, the sadness of our goodbyes.
The hug that is lasting till the next time, the driving away.
Pictures taken, a turtle joined our journey home.
A car drive lasting hours, seeming like a lifetime,
approaching home, finding all the pictures gone physically.
Pictures mentally are still there and shall live on forever.
