If I Could... Dream

I lost myself in this dream
Nothing is as it seems
People, people, all around
Not a whisper, not a sound
I start to fall and descend
When will this ever end?
No one I know is ever here
I hope the end is maybe near
As I start running to find someone
It doesn’t seem very fun
I guess this may be the final straw
The last man on deck or the last card to draw
Time is slipping, quickly by
I feel as if I should cry
These feelings I have must be fake
This lost world is what’s at stake
Strange things happen every day
In my head, it’s on its way
