Throwing her hay,
And playing with grass,
Dancing with shadows,
While moonlight flies past,
Whispering songs to only the trees,
Galloping by,
Only wishing to be free.

The author's comments:
Well I took my horse Lena outside for night turnout and she was playing with her hay and she would walk around nose to the ground trying to find the right place to graze. She used to be an outdoor horse (outside 24/7) but now she only goes out once a day, I always see her looking around wanting to go out so that's kind of how I got most of the lines for this poem!
