Across The Misty River

Across the misty river,
she looks but can't find,
the memory that leaves a
black hole in her mind.

She searches and searches,
for the memory that is lost.

If only she could make it across,
if only she could see what was false.

Who is she?

She can not seem to find.
She feels so blind.

When will she know?
How can it help?

Across the misty river,
she is in search for
HERSELF.

I really love this poem, but I totally agree; it lacks flow. My advice is- don't always make poetry rhyme, sometimes it butchers creativity. It almost seems like that's what happened here.
