Nothing is more caressing
Than the gentle rays of the sun
Nothing is more reviving
Than a warm, misty rain
Nothing is more fulfilling
Than a light, gentle breeze
Nothing is more perfect
Than summer

The purity of the supple green leaves
So unlike anything ever made by mankind
Reflecting the brilliant gold
Piercing down
From the perfect blue sky
Ruffling like an angry bird
Glistening with summer joy

As the bonfires burn down
The cottages close up
And the season comes to an end
The tree still stands
Forever unmoving, glued in place like a statue
Always watching, always taking
Care of us and our dear mother earth
