The love affair with stars and stripes
led people to believe
that the stained hilt hath held the answer
To all ease men seek.
The ease of honor, glory, girls
and frank security.
In the dawning of the era,
not one fault can he come see
Why not! says the bird, flying home with new message.
Why not! says the riches and glory to be found.
Why not! Doth the hatter, when ordinary is all he.
Not knowing the consequences
hath led people to believe
that the rifle is the answer and a statistic shown be
When in truth all it is
Is some testosterone let out free.
