A Different World
A gentle-cool breeze
welcomes this new day
as I enter the new world
Small, orange creatures,
with carved emotions
fill the once-empty streets
I stand there, listening
it was that sweet angelic-sound,
that came from the trees
The trees' leaves
have been falling
and filling the open road
God's wind escaped
and flew
through the open fog
The simple touch of it
sent shivers down my spine
a good feeling, it was
The smell of the season,
filled my nose
this was Mother Nature's incense
the chill-yet-bitter taste
of the warm colours
and cool air
fell onto my tongue
Nothing could describe
the sensation of this new world
it was a gift, to me
