Emerging from the clouds
We float above a city of
Gleaming highways and
Golden street-lamp strands
I peer outside and gasp at
The glittering lights, like
twinkling droplets of morning dew
Suspended on gossamer webs
Manmade magic, I muse
And the plane sways as if
To agree, and made unstable
By its awed confession.
