I love that there is you.
I love that there is me.
But I hate that there is no us.

I love the idea of us.
I love the sound of us.
But I hate the idea of a world without us.

I love talking to you.
I love listening to you.
But I hate when we run out of time to talk.

I love your smile.
I love how you make me smile.
But I hate not seeing that smile every day.

I love that there are so many reasons for us to be together.
I love that the list could go on forever.
But I hate that there is no us.

The author's comments:
Okay, so for this one, I was feeling so in love with a person that I just had to write about it. I still talk to the girl I wrote this about from time to time, but she's too busy to start anything serious. So this is my poem to her.
