You are my only light in this world,
everything is falling apart.
But there you stand,
taking care of my heart.
Nothing ever goes right for me,
I haven't been happy in a long while.
But there you stand,
Making me laugh and smile.
I've been through so much hurt,
I don't know how much more I can take.
But there you stand,
you prove your feelings for me are not fake.
You make me feel like I haven't felt in awhile,
And I now know what to do.
And there you stand,
While I give my everything to you.
