A man gets up in the afternoon
to get ready for work
Makes dinner for his kids and heads out the door
He's a divorced man, single father of two
Out there in this lonely world
trying to make ends meet
Out there in this lonely world
trying for my brother and me
Like a turtle on it's back trying to flip on its feet
He won't give up
because it's not for him
It's for his two kids
and he does it anyway
