I worked so hard
But it’s all for naught
All because of a few stupid formulas that I forgot
Those difficult classes
And those years of trying
But with these pathetic results I feel like dying
All because of an average

The author's comments:
Applying for college is one of the most stressful things I have ever done. I look at my GPA and it isn't nearly as high as others because I took harder classes and struggled, effectively lowering my grade point average. The overwhelming feeling of failure during comparison is hard.
