There was a time you were by my side.
I held you close with a lot of pride.
I told everyone you were my girl.
Until you took my life for a twirl.
Now my pockets are empty,
from all your spending.
My heart is empty,
from your pretending.
My head is empty,
from what I was told.
My hands are empty,
with nothing to hold.
My love is gone,
from your theft.
