Strings
You twiddle your fingers up and down,
Do you realize what you do?
I always tell you how much you mean to me,
How my heart yearns for you.
But i think you hear it so much,
You take it for granted a bit.
But loving you is something,
That i refuse to just quit.
The strings are short, the line is thin,
But they won't seem to break.
Why can't you love me the way i love you,
I'd give anything to be on the same page.
You control my every mood with every move you make,
Treat me right, be mine, stop the heartache.
Each and every day it makes my heart shatter.
If you're going to change your ways and treat me right,
Could you go a little faster?
My heart hearts knowing that i'm the puppet,
And you're the puppet master.
