Certain Sunshine
I believe in certain sunshine
A very close friend of mine
We thrived in my head
And made killing fields dead
Now I believe in deadly depression
A relative of mine own suppression
We fought and I won
I conquered the sun
But you eat my friends
And tears you send
I now mostly cry
Because I want to say goodbye
My life is filled with decadence
Most anxiety and pressure since
I was thirteen and quite ignorant
Growing naïve and quite despondent
Now I dream of suicide
Perhaps hanging or cyanide
“For Madmen Only”
Of happiness phony
